Karen brings extensive experience to her role, having successfully litigated before administrative tribunals such as the Provider Reimbursement Review Board (PRRB) for Medicare cost report appeals and the Department of Health Care Services Office of Administrative Hearings and Appeals for Medi-Cal cost report appeals. She also excels in traditional court proceedings and arbitrations. She has served as first chair and second chair in multiple high-level managed care arbitrations involving complex reimbursement payment issues and contracting disputes.
