Riley Robertson is an Associate at Athene Law. They represent healthcare providers including hospitals, clinics, and American Indian health programs in both litigation and regulatory compliance matters. Their litigation experience encompasses the full life of a dispute, from drafting the complaint to post-trial motions. They have significant experience coordinating complex written discovery and pre-trial motions practice. They have also advised clients on issues related to the provision of gender-affirming care.

Prior to joining Athene Law, Riley served as a healthcare litigator at an Am Law 100 firm in Los Angeles, California. They represented hospital systems in managed care reimbursement disputes, helping to secure more than $15 million in awards and favorable settlements. They were part of an arbitration team representing a hospital in a two-week arbitration that resulted in a favorable award and complete dismissal of the opposing party’s counterclaims.

In addition to their legal practice, Riley serves as a member of the inaugural advisory committee for Inland Counties Legal Services, a legal aid organization.
